The Parish Family Foundation was founded by myself, Blakelèi Parish, along with my husband, Taliq, and our children, following the profound loss of our beloved baby girl, Ta’Rya Parish. At nearly nine months pregnant, I was rushed to the hospital, only to be told that Ta’Rya's heartbeat could not be found. The devastating news was something we were unprepared for, and the pain of that moment continues to resonate deeply with us.
During this time of overwhelming grief, we experienced a significant decline in our daily lives. The challenges of eating, sleeping, and caring for our other children became almost insurmountable. Thankfully, our family stepped in with prepared meals, home cleaning, and support for our children. Despite this help, we realized that many families facing similar grief may not have such a support system.
Our personal journey has inspired us to create The Parish Family Foundation. We are dedicated to offering compassionate support and essential resources to families navigating crises and loss. We provide free consulting sessions, vital supplies, and a caring presence to help ease the burdens of daily life during difficult times. Our mission is to ensure that no one faces grief alone and to be the support system that we wish we had during our darkest days.
The Parish Family Foundation is committed to making a sustainable impact in communities through our various initiatives. This is a key opportunity to directly support local residents by providing free groceries and essential household items. These initiatives not only addresses immediate needs but also fosters a sense of community and connection. Additionally, we will offer our Hope and Support Program, designed to alleviate the financial burdens families face during unforeseen crises or significant losses. We will provide targeted financial assistance for essential needs, including bill payments, groceries, and home products. By combining these efforts, we aim to create lasting change and support the resilience of families in our communities. Together, we can build a stronger, more sustainable future for all.
Join our mission in supplying families in Arizona with critical supplies, including water, non-perishable food items, nutritional supplies, health aid kits, toiletries, clothing, and gift cards for bill payments and groceries. Additionally, we aim to set up informational sessions offering food resources, counseling, and health information.
Your support would be invaluable in helping us achieve our goal and make a meaningful impact in our community. We would love for you to join us in this important endeavor.
